Wow. What can I say about Paris. Its been pretty cold every day. I actually wish I had a jacket. Its rained for a week straight also. Paris is nothing like you would think. TV makes it look so different. I am so glad to be here though and humbled Father would bring me here. Father has been softening the ground here and making himself known. Several people have learned about the good news and hopefully they can ponder this and come to know the Father. Things to pr for- Team unity ( Ephesians 4:2-3), the M's, one weeker's that are about to come and the one weeker's who have already left. Pr for them to put what they've learned in to practice and that Father will help them share at home too! I love you all.
Missy- when I come home I want enchiladas haha

Joyfully I will sing a new song, for you are good. Woe to me if I should cease to praise you. Your goodness over flows my heart! You are good Father, no part of me deserves to experience your great love. How could I come to you but a dirty cloth? How should I cleanse myself??
Father you promise you will cleanse me. What a relief to me to not have to rely on myself. I fail.. Completely and totally but you? NEVER. Your goodness soothes the depths of my soul and your presence gives me strength to push through the chains of life. My heart was broken my soul was empty until your stepped in. After my ears understood your words to give my empty soul over to you so you could fill it I was finally able to rejoice. I never knew such love! Holy holy is your name forever and ever amen! Let it be that your name be proclaimed unto the nations. Your son’s blood cleansed the dirt from my depths and your hand brought me from the child of wrath I was. How can It be that this love exists? Oh but without you It could not. Tears fall from my eyes as I recall your grace. When I stepped on your marked hands and feet and joined in the evil of the world. You saw to me I am your beloved, your child. What love is this? I have never known such mercy; I have never known such peace. This life is yours. Completely yours.
Have you ever taken the time to journal? I don’t usually it isn’t quite my thing but when the spirit talks to you, you must! Obedience that isn’t immediate is disobedient! Now how can we fix this if it isn’t our thing? Simple. Father gives us this thing called focus. We focus on many other things in life even when they aren’t our “thing”. I mean seriously who’s “thing” is school? Not mine! Through focusing I got through high school. Now sometimes just doing something a few times can get your into a habit. I believe that this is a good habit. I hope you can focus on sitting down every now and then and just pouring out your heart to Father. You may find it easier than speaking! I do! Also by writing down our love for Father we have the opportunity to go back and read it later for a little inspiration! Father is cool like that don’t you agree? I seriously can’t say or write the depths of his love. His love is an ocean that I can never find the bottom of! Find peace in his love. Write it, sing it, speak it, and proclaim it! I also encourage you to get in to the word because it is literally our shield. I find myself retreating back to conquered sin when I haven’t read in a while! Through reading Father has shown me ways to avoid some of my most persistent sin! He is good. So pick up your shield! Read it and enjoy it. I mean seriously the creator of the entire universe left this for us. Why wouldn’t we read it?? Also I will be going out today possibly with my native neighbors. They speak good English and I know Father has a plan orchestrated for this event. We must remember, I may tell them the good news; they may accept it, but Father GAVE THE GROWTH. He did the growing not any of us. We are merely tools, jars of clay counted worthy of helping. He doesn’t need our help but he does love when we help. 1 Corinthians 3:6-8

Wow, base camp is officially over and we are in the airport. Its been a busy 3 days and the team is exhausted. We learned so much this weekend about the bottom line and fathers amazing grace. If your not familiar with the bottom line it is a core value that IGG teaches us. Basically throughout the word we see many verses were the top line is all about how we are blessed and we see the bottom line comes in soon after when Father receives glory for our blessing. For example, Daniel and the lions den- Daniel is obviously blessed when Fathers sends his protectors to shut the mouths of the Lions. Because of this Darius is over joyed and sends a decree for everyone to worship Daniels Father! The bottom line- Father will be glorified.
I personally learned alot about love in general. Love is incredible and free. If we don't have love we literally have nothing- are lives are a lie. How can we proclaim are love for Father if our love for our brother is nonexistent? We can't it is false. Father is love and through him comes love. Take a moment today to pr for the People Of France and their hearts to be opened to this love. This love is pure, unfathomable and its depths never end. Also please pr for my team myself and you. That all of our hearts would be loving and the cold stoney parts could be chipped off.
I encourage all of you to look up the song Proof of Your Love by Of King and Country. I would post the link like I usually do but I just don't have time. Much love from DFW Airport :) flying out in 50 minutes!

As I got ready for bed tonight I decided to try reading a book called "A Holy Ambition" by John Piper. It looks incredibly good and is about preaching the Gospel where it is unwelcome. I opened to the first page and immediately, readers block. Nothing. I just couldn't make myself read it. This isn't the first time Ive encountered this problem either. I've tried on numerous occasions to read a more serious book such as "Celebration of Discipline", and "Forgotten God". Every time it never fails I just stare at the pages and feel that the books are completely above me. Honestly I know each one of these books are wonderful and were recommended by very trust worthy people but my brain can't seem to get past the seriousness I guess. I prefer a drama packed story, some Karen Kingsbury, or a beautiful truth from the Bible but for whatever reason I CANNOT get myself immersed in one of these serious Discipline books. Life is much like this also. We choose to trust God more when may good things are going on. When things are exciting and intriguing we jump right in to a outstanding relationship with God. When things are flipped and things get boring are just become the "norm" its hard to maintain that relationship and discipline ourselves in normal quiet times and prayer. I think tomorrow I will give "A Holy Ambition" another try, after all God gives me MANY trys. There is no ending to Gods love, so when things get boring and "normal" don't forget God. Maintain that relationship with a thirst for Gods will, not obligation.

First Post!
I was just going to use this for this summer to get you all up dated, but what the heck why not spill some other details here and there.
I spent most of the day humming along to Kari Jobe's song "My Beloved". I cant help but get slightly teared eyed when I think of how incredible this love is that we have FREE. Take advantage of this love my friends. This love is pure, beautiful and covers all iniquity.
